Hi folks.
Thought I'd check in and let you know that I won't be submitting many photos any longer.
Unfortunately I am now a disabled person. I have to use a cane to help me walk and if its too far to walk, a wheelchair.
The back condition has deteriorated rapidly and though I have an appointment with a spinal specialist in a few weeks, the outlook is not very promising.
It's extremely difficult to get down into a crouch or stand/sit very long to take some of the photos I love doing. I can set up some shots on the table out doors (I always use natural light) but even bending in a seated position is too much.
So. Only tourista type shots from now on. I suppose I should sell my DSLR but ..... I love that camera to bits.

Please don't feel too bad for me. I'm not confined to a wheelchair yet and I'm very happy with the rest of my life!

Just wanted you all to know why I've not done much in the last while and to not expect anything in the future. I wish I'd spent more time to get to know you all, I suppose we could start on that though. At the moment, I don't spend too much time on the pc due to the chair being uncomfortable. A laptop is in the future so I can change positions when I need to to stay comfortable enough to continue spending time on the computer.
Anyhow!! Enough of me.
Please let me know how you are all doing and tell me what I need to see in way of art, photos etc.
